The Vision : Robin and Helen Morris live in an attractive old farmhouse just outside Fintry. They wanted cheaper heat for their home but soon discounted ground source heat technology feeling that it just wouldn’t create the warmth they sought for their period home which was typically cold and draughty.
Making it Happen : On this project Reith Partners managed all the contractors including a specialist consultant to design the heating system and a local plumber. The key challenge to be overcome was the inconsistency of a private water supply serving a larger than average buffer tank.
